Disabled Person's Freedom Pass

This scheme is run by London Councils and provides free travel to Londoners of any age who meet the eligible disabilities

Although the scheme is run by London Councils, you need to apply for a Disabled Person's Freedom Pass through the London borough you live in.

If you are aged 66 or older but meet one of the eligible disabilities then you should apply for a Disabled Person's Freedom Pass.

TfL 60+ Oyster Photocard

The 60+ Oyster photocard is a travel scheme provided by the Mayor of London and Transport for London. The pass providers free travel to Londoners aged 60-65. As this is a separate scheme to Freedom pass, you will find all the information you need on the TfL 60+ London Oyster photocard page.

When applying for TfL 60+ Oyster card, if you choose to NOT OPT OUT of data sharing, you will not need to re-apply for Older Person's Freedom Pass when you turn 66. Instead you will receive a letter from London Councils.
