Apply online for an older person's Freedom Pass

Before you apply
Step 1: Check you are eligible
Please make sure you are eligible for a Freedom pass by checking our eligibility criteria.
Step 2: Apply online
To apply online, you will be asked to provide the following information:
- Your email address.
- Complete name and home address.
- Proof of your name and age.
- Proof of your residential status in London.
- A colour photograph of yourself.
- You will need to agree to our terms and conditions.
- You will also need to take note of your application reference number so you can track your application. This will be provided during the application process.

Apply onlineAlternatively, you can apply for a Freedom Pass by post.
Step 3: Tracking your application
If you have applied for your Freedom Pass online you will be able to track its progress by logging into your account with your username (email address) and password. We will also email you once your pass has been posted.
Please leave two to three working days from when you submit your application before trying to track it.
Receiving your Freedom Pass
Cards are sent out by second-class post. If the online tracker shows that your card has been dispatched, it may take up to 10 working days to reach you.
